Independence Day 2024

A small gathering to mark the tradition of Ukrainian flag day, the Independence Day.

Held with the kind welcome of Gillingham Social Club.

A chance to remember traditions, play games and catch up with friends recently returned from Ukraine.

Avrora arranged Cossack games for the children

Nicola and Addy had cooked cakes decorated with the Ukrainian flag and people dressed for the occasion. The sun came unexpectedly and brightened the evening.
