Grants to support our work.

We help refugees and people displaced by conflict to North Dorset. We help them gain access to services, become part of the community and make their rich contribution.

There are some additional financial pressures on people who had to leave home with nothing and sometimes we can award grants to help with transport, education, homemaking and IT.

We therefore work behind the scenes to gain the support of generous community leaders like Hall and Woodhouse and St James Place Charitable Foundation. We apply for grants regularly so we can maintain our work and have a secure future for the vulnerable people we work with.

We are therefore delighted to thank our donors and celebrate two recent awards. Both will help us a great deal.

St James Place Charitable Foundation awarded us £1000 and Hall and Woodhouse Community Chest awarded us £1200.

Hall and Woodhouse also gave the local charities and two of our Trustees, Roz and Nicola, a chance to visit the brewery to accept their awards and give their thanks for the generosity of this important local business. These awards will help us, and the other beneficiaries, the opportunity to continue our vital work.
