Dance Class
On Saturday TLW Dance School had invited students to two classes with Kyiv City Ballet. One with a focus on classical ballet, the other showing folk variations in the Ukrainian style.
These hour long classes were hard and enjoyable and both professional and student dancers were given a tough time by Ivan whose pace of teaching was high.
Following on from the dancers in training we concentrated on the steps towards traditional dancing for a group of young Ukrainians in a workshop supported by TLW Foundation.
The students clearly liked the variety they were exposed to and it was a great taster for the chance to dance on stage alongside Kyiv City Ballet on Sunday.
